To celebrate the victory of the 15 First Vanarchs that will rules Arborea, Samael News (and Whitestar) organise a Grand Gala this Thursday 31 may at 21h in Velika, capital of the Valkyrion Federation.

The event will be entierly Streamed on Whitestarstream and commented by Majiinfreddy and Elloa.

We believed that the very first election deserved a grand event in its own, a celebration, a reward for the Vanarch, with a hint of roleplay, but not too much, a hint of show off, but not cocky. We hope that not only the Vanarch will enjoy this participation, but also the whole server community will enjoy to participate and watch the Tournament.


Program of the evening

• Screenshot : Vanarchs gather on Velika stair and pose for a group screenshot. The Population can gather and acclaim them.
  
• Parade : Vanarchs mount up, and leave Velika through the west gate in a cortege. The parade will be going and end till the Velika University, the area of the Vanarch Tournament
  
• Vanarch Tournament : Vanarch will impress the population by a 3v3 Tournament that will last for approximatively 1h30.
  
• Vanarch Meeting : Once the Tournament is done, Vanarch will gather for the first meeting of Arborea’s rulers.

Tournament
3v3 team . Each team will meet once all other teams, for a total of 10 matches.

Meeting
Samael News will prepare some questions concerning the plans the Vanarch will have and how they will collaborate together or not.

I would say 'secret' meeting. But not really secret since we would use it to make 15 mini-interviews, later published in our special issue about vanarchs.

Okay.;once we know for sure what we will go for, we need to announce it! Karnee! We need one of your doing to announce this event. Would like to do it as soon as possible.

I love this idea though Wendy and it got me really hyped.
But I think we should skip the "tournament", cause it doesn't really fit into the whole vanarch thingy.

I would rather wanna see each vanarch getting 30 sec each to Thank everyone in Velika, for those who voted etc, and their future promises.
(We would also read this out loud on the stream).
Beside that, I think a parade would be fun, but it needs a goal.

My first idea with the parade is that everyone meets up on Velika, the Vanarch rides first, with everyone else following to the position you mentioned.
Here each vanarch would take its place and give their speech. But then again, it safer to do it in Velika.. (Ie, gankers).

Samael News should do a quick 2-5 question round on each vanarch as well , as Karnee mentioned.

We should get something really brilliant though to end it with... *thinks* I'll get back to you on that.
Also, we should get like 10 people to buy fireworks and stand behind the vanarchs, and as each of them take the stage, they fire off stuff ;>;>;>;>

I don't get the point of the meeting though, but please do enlighten me on what you mean that should have as a goal.

When it comes to the stream, we should get SOMEONE (eyeballs karnee) to make us a really fancy layout for it. Meaning, a TV or some kind of fancy stuff around the game screen just to show off the "celebration".
I love the idea about the newscast \ tv thingy, but I don't know if that's something I would want to do tbh.

1. The idea of he "tournament" was to have something more than just a parade. BUt I don't really care about that part of the idea.

2. I really like the speech time idea. We could do the parade the other way arround, starting outside Velika, and finishing on Velika Stairs. But I'm also not sure of how much persons are able to stand inside Velika. The place is a bit limited. Not sure here what would be the best.

3. I had two ideas for the meeting. One would have been "the interview moment". But My main idea was to gather Vanarch physically and in the same time on ventrilo/skype/whatever and discuss about their plans for the server. So Vanarchs can gather and decide together, have a bigger view than their personal one about their zone only. For example about events. Each Vanarch have promised events, but it will be ridiculous from a server point of view to have 15 tournaments. One or Two would be good enough, for that Vanarch need to agree and organise themselves
(I've lot of ideas about this subject aswell that I'll speak about later)

I'd be very interessted to be on the vt with them and write down what they have to say

We should record it and then write it down ;D

I want to finish this ASAP, and annouce it on all forums.

New Program of the evening

•Vanarch Speech: Vanarchs will make a small speech (taking 1 min max) that they will adress to the population. Everyone will have the occasion to acclaim them.

•Vanarch Meeting : The population will be invited to continue the festivities down in the Valley while Vanarch will gather for more serious buisness. The first meeting of Arborea rulers. During this meeting, they will be invited to discuss about different problems : shops and taxes, PVP, and events.
Samael News will be present along the meeting and will record and summary the issue of the meeting in a special edition.
The specific of this meeting will be given later. You are encouraged to point the subject you would like to see discussed.


The Vanarch Gala will continue for the population in a serie of friendly deathmatches and duels and will be streamed on WhitestarStream.


Each Vanarch will choose two or three bodyguards from their guild that will constitue an armed escort to prevent griefing during the event.

idk if velika will have vanarch but if so it would be great if they could deactivate PVP for the event

In another way, it can even be fun to see some griefers trying to ruin the events. It will be "rebels" attempting to assassinate the Vanarchs.
Wich is why I suggested this bodygard army. Should be an escort of 30 guys entierly dedicated to the defence of the event.

Dear Vanarch!

Tomorow, please type /join Samael 2112. This private channel will be used for the meeting and organize the evening.

Here are the exact program of the Vanarch Gala :

- 21h: Gathering in Velika. Every Vanarch will stand on the stairs in the middle (in front of the Teleport) with their mounts. Big ones (Aman, Baraka, High elves) behind, small ones in front, on the first steps. All other guildies and officers stand with the crowd at the bottom of the stairs.
- 21h15: We will leave Velika in a parade, by the North Gate. I'll lead the Cortege myself, so just follow the Squirrel Elin.
- The Parade will leave Velika trough North gate, cross the bridge and follow the road till the Mansion/University.
- All Vanarch will stand on the top stairs, in line, while the crowd will take place around the fountain. The speech will start with the Vanarch standing on the left. The Vanarch will move and go in the middle of the stairs to make his speech, then go back to his place. Don't worry, I'll call for your name anyway.
- Once it's done, the Vanarch will gather for a meeting in the Mansion top garden, while the crowd will participate to deathmatches below.

21.00 Gather in Velika with the Vanarchs on top of the middle stairs.
All other guildies and officers will stand with the crowd at the bottom of the stairs.
21.15 We leave Velika by the North Gate as a Parade ending at the Mansion.
Vanarchs will stand on top of the stairs in a line.
The crowd will stand next to the fountain.
Each Vanarch gets 30sec to thank the crowd etc, starting with the person on the left
(I will yell out the name of the person in case)
After the speech the Vanarchs will gather for a meeting while the crowd does Deathmatches.
