Fight in the Wood : low level deadmatches + outlaw trap

I've noticed that heavy organised events met a poor success, while improvised events such as our "Meet our pirate" event was very succesful and players enjoyed it.
Tournament, Hide'N Seek game, even with the promise of a generous reward doesn't seem to appeal enough players to be worth the effort.

We also need to organise some event. As Whitestar, we have promised it, and we have not given it...Yet.

I believe the key for a succesful event is :

• Promotion on forum and in game.
  
• Free entrance (no subscriptions, no "real" requierement)
  
• Something that include fighting

Whitestar invite you this Tuesday 12 june, 21h GTM+1 for a low level Deathmatch evening! You have a character between lvl 11 and lvl 25? Join us in the forest of Arcadia, for an exiting evening of fights and duels! The Pirates of Ostgarath will envy our lumberjacks!

What? Deathmatch evening
When? Tuesday 12 june 21h GTM+1
Where? Ah! You really think we will give outlaws our location?
Who? Low level players are the only one invited. 11-25

You want to join? This is really simple! Come in Arcadia a little bit before 21h, and whisper Elloa or <.....>, we will give you our secret location to avoid the outlaws.
Be prepared and ready for a fun night of fights in a friendly atmosphere! No inscription fee, no rewards! Just pure fun! (You can bet though)

Differents deahmatches will be organised to be sure every level can have their fun!

This event is a call for outlaws and Gank'N Spank to come and put the mess : that's exactly the purpose, but we will trap them by a second, secret and hidden event.

Dear and trustworthy Whitestar friend,

We invite you for a fun evening of outlaw hunt in Arcadia this Tuesday 12 june a bit before 21h. Indeed, some of us will organise a low level deathmatch event in an "unexpected" area of Arcadia. But outlaws and particuliary Gank'N Spank, or Bad Manners might have the wil to really be looking for us, or to sent spies. We expect to have a lot of high level coming in Arcadia and attempt to ruin the event.

This is why we are inviting you, not to directly protect low level players enjoying an event made for them, but to have lot of fun hunting the outlaws that will obviously attempt to find the event.

We hope to offer by this trap, a wonderful and exiting night of pvp for you!
To have more fun during the hunt, we invite you to join our ventrilo.
You are also very welcome to join the event on a low level alt. And switch between your two characters according to the needs of the evening.

We hope to see you tuesday aswell, and remember, this is a secret, so shttttttttt! Let's not warn the Arcadia ravagers about our trap!

What will do Whitestar?

The location I've though is this little farm in the swamp, between the March and Celestial Hill main road. There is some mobs that will be killed by the higher level keeping an dorganising the events.

Invitation : Before to whisper to someone the location + channel, we check what level he is. If it's higher than 25, we whisper him another 'unexpected' location and another channel,
However, we will have spies.

Security : Some high level of Whitestar will be garding the event, by killing mobs, and be sure no outlaws is going through.
To be sure everyone will share some fun, we can arrange a rotation between high level. Sometimes you are on your alt, sometimes on your main.

Deathmatches : A Whitestar of the right level will organise some deathmatches (and participate to the fight). We can make different deathmatches in the same time, size of the deathmatches depending of who is participating.

Purpose :

• To respect our Vanarch promises
  
• To offer an event made for low level players
  
• To offer in the same time an world PVP event for higher players
  
• To revenge and pown the ass of those outlaws that have annoyed our Vanarchery
  
• To show that we can have solutions against them
  
• To promote our guild by establishing strong contacts with potential voter guilds
