This interesting article concern the beta subscription. I'm not sure to understand very well, because my facebook didn't updated with my subscription and however, it seem that TSW website has registred my subscription. Well... we will see I gues,s but it would be fun to be able to participate.

The one thing that really ticks the box for me with this game is the real world concept rather then far out fantasy or sci fi.

I was following it but I stopped checking the forums due to lack of anything.. well..happening!

I do not have facebook - kinda a negative in my opinion that you have less chances if you dont use facebook. Still I applied again

What totally turns me off is the real life of the game, haha. I did apply to beta as Templar but oh well. Nothing really I look forward to

First of all I would like to say that I am new here so, hi? xD
Anyway....
Since I am having a hard time deciding where to write, I will type a few words about TSW.

Since I have played AoC for a few months I know what kind of miricles they
can make. The whole monsters and stuff idea is interesting and the gameplay (as far as I can see at least, my pc crashes with youtube sometimes so I can't watch videos from there safely) is something to look forward to. It is a game I would play, unless TERA is out before it (yeeeap I will be playing on TERA mostly after its out).

Didn't active AoC players get to play TSW in some closed beta events? Heard rumour about it, you being a AoC player and such.

They do invite accounts if you subscribe for the beta, but I never got a special invitation thing. I suppose it's just random selection. Or maybe the players that have active subscription or payed at least once got it and random selection for the f2p ones. ( I will check it incase i find something )

(and what i found):
Pretty much nothing new.... and that closed beta thing might have been there but not as a special event. It was just to invite testers but since those that play funcom's games are AoC players they invited them.
There was something mentioned about OBeta though. :3
It will be after christmas but no official date was given yet.

Welcome on Whitestar forum! Feel free to use the rooms and such to discuss, however, know that we are very very buzy with SWTOR at the moment, and the forum migth seems deserted. This is because we are playing together (almost all of us).
We also have closed our recruitement for now, to take the time to get aquainted with the new persons that have joined us recently. But that doesn't change so much, as many of our rooms are completly open anyway. This will give you the occasion to get aquainted with us!

Unfortunately I am not really interested on SWTOR since it looks so much like WoW(so much alike that swtormovies.com were created xD). I would rather start WoW again other than playing a game that is similar to it.

That's where you're wrong my friend. Apart from the UI; It's totally different from wow. There won't be any good mmo like Swtor with so much story and fantastic epic moments for a veeeeery long time.

I do have the feeling I am watching a boring version of WoW when I see gameplay videos ( I was talking about the gameplay only, not the story , and who cares about the UI if it's not annoying to use? xD ). But either way, I won't insist. Still I am not interested in it. Playing DC Universe for now (since the combat is quite fun:3, but unfortunately the community is boring >.>).
