[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II Wowscr18

With red cheeks and a glistening forehead, Eledeza was lying in a silk covered bed of the Legerdemain Lounge in Dalaran. Her sister sat close, holding her hands and watching her carefully.

- "Light can not do anything for me this time", she said in her soft, flowing language. "I even think… that… I’ve lost my power.”

In a vain effort, she tried to call for the blessing of Elune in her hands, but instead of the dazzling light that would usually glow in her hands to cover her whole body, she only succeeded to summon a poor little flame which died immediately. Eledeza started to breathe deeper, her lips were dry, all her remaining energy spent to accomplish this sorry spell. Elenoza held back a tear, trying to show a worryfree face to her beloved sister. She hugged her tenderly.

- "Keep hope, sister ! I’ll find a way. I’m certain that amongst the herbs of Northrend, we can find a cure to this miserable cold that has so vanquished your natural strength. I’ll talk to the maid, I’m certain she's a nice person that will take care of you while I’m gone. I’ll find the cure, I promise !"

The sick twin squeezed her sister hand more insistently. With some difficulties, she continued to speak :

- "We…should ...have prepared ourselves better…for this ..travel in such cold. We were…not used to …this…You must be careful…"

- "Shttttt, rest my dear. Don't say another word."

- "We…just …wanted so dearly to help… just help. It’s…stupid, isn’t it. Now it’s me who needs help. I’m so useless…"

With one finger on her lips, Elenoza closed her sister's mouth before she could lose herself in endless apologies, and waited there until she fell asleep. Only then did she gather her few supplies, and went out to the populated streets of Dalaran.

[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II Wowscr12

They had arrived in Northrend only few weeks ago. As everyone else, they had seen the main cities invaded by the plague, they had heard the King's call, they had seen the heroes boarding the massive northbound ships. They had just escaped from their prison; they had travelled just enough to see how helpless the world they were discovering could be. They were young and still naive, ignorant of how things were working outside their forest. They simply followed the stream of heroes, hoping to offer their contribution for a better tomorrow.
And then, they had been surprised by the sorrow of the population and of the soldiers they met. They had been surprised that the healing abilities they were so proud of when they had hoped to be Sisters of Elune, were just inefficient against such disasters they were now encountering. And then there was this wind, always blowing, passing through their light elven dresses, chilling their poor bodies to the bones. The endless breeze howling in the fjords was scaring their souls as much as biting their flesh.
They were lonely in this hostile world, missing the tenderness of the Ashenvale forest and the caress of the sun, the simplicity of a life without future and questions.

- "I almost prefer our aunt's mansion", Elenoza remarked one day, while they were walking in the floating city.

To that her sister, struck by a spark of their mother's wild nature, answered:

- "We are free. Nothing is more important than freedom, sister !"

She was proud, and would never have confessed the possibility of having done a mistake by coming to this place. The next morrow she would not wake up. A strong fever had taken her, leaving the Kaldorei powerless and vanquished

Elenoza left Dalaran behind her, the heart pinched at the idea of letting her sister alone in an unknown tavern. But she was resolute to find a cure as soon as possible. She had heard about a gathering of druids and nature defenders settling down in the Borean Tundra. She was hoping to find them fast and to receive from them the precious information she needed.
She ventured to Vailance Keep where she decided to stay the time she needed to find the organisation she had been talked about. The surroundings of the fort were invaded by scourge creatures. All days and night long their scream were terrifying the inhabitants and the soldiers presents. Some were even deserting the rank, letting their army weak and hesitating. Every days however, the Keep saw fresh heroes coming from whole Azeroth or beyond, being recruited and sent to diverse missions.

Tintam was one of those heroes. Over her 99 centimetres high, enclosed in some extravagant assembly of plate armour, she carried the most proud smile ever seen. She was sure of herself, trustful, insolent and filled by an energy which seemed to never fail her. When Elenoza’s blue eyes cross her tiny figure for the first time, she was charging every creature she met on the shore, yelling some raging gnomish insults, and was certainly not paying attention to her bleeding arms. In extremis, the Kaldorei summoned the power of Elune, and send it to the thoughtless warrior in a glowing beam of light. The gnome finished her target by a large cleave with her two impressive axes. Her weapons were almost as big as she was tall.

- Hey ! You saw that, miss elf ! Vaunted she with a joyful glance “Nothing resist the terrible awesome Tintam !”

She had even not noticed her wounds and injuries softly being resorbed by the Light. It’s probably this assurance which touched Elenoza, and from that moment a most improbable friendship born. The reserved Kaldorei and the raging gnome were venturing the tundra together, taking care of each others, fighting side by side, meeting news people.

It’s only few days later, when Tintam questioned her about the white stars covered tabard she was wearing, that she opened her heart to the little being. She answered that was the colour of her family, and started to explain what happened to her parents, why she and her sister had been enclosed so long, why their only whish had been to escape and known the ecstasy of freedom, why they wanted to help this world, make it better, offer it some hope…She spoke a lot, longly and she lost herself in her own memories. As expected, Tintam had not got the half of it, and only remembered the parts which arouse her interest: the ugly old aunt, the sick sister and the world which needed the help of heroes.

- I’ll help you to find the herbs for the cure. I’ll protect you with my axes. Nothing will happen to you if I’m here. We will save your sister and she will become my friend too. And after that, we will free the world from the Scourge. And we will go in your old house and give a good spank to your aunt for all evilness she did to you! Na!

The gnome was claiming those words, raising her fits to the sky with such a serious face that Elenoza could not refrain a laugh. Tintam frown her red eyebrows, like an offended child would do.

- Ooh don’t be mad! You are so cute, really!

- I’m not cute! I’m terrible!

- Yes ! You are ! And you can be my little sister if you want.

- And you will make me those delicious cookies?

- Yes, I will.

- And I can have the same shirt than you, with the stars?

Elenoza nodded, still smiling. Since she shared those days in the company of Tintam, she felt stronger, more secure, and more hopeful. She was no more lost alone in a hostile world, trying to save her only friend from a cold taken by ignorance. She had found more naïve than her, and she felt good to have to take care about someone else, someone …different.

It’s that day, following the wishes of an intrepid gnome and a careful Night elf, that for the first time the name of “Whitestar” meant something more than an old elfish patronym.

[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II Empty Whitestar : the hero and the gnome

Post by Elloa Thu Dec 10, 2009 5:02 pm

Winter is not the ideal season for romantic effusions. But sometimes, even in the coldest plains, whipped by wind and snow, even during those days enclosed between two too long nights, even struck in the blizzard blowing his frozen anger…Sometimes, a passion is too impatient to born and can not wait for the spring and its flower festival. Sometimes, a couple of eyes meet some another, a heart is beating faster …and the snow can melt. Sometimes, when no one expects it, Love is summoned, and the World will never be the same again…

Elenoza and Tintam had been called by the 7th Regiment in Dragonblind for some missions. They were happy to provide their help after their decisions of working actively for a better world. Tintam in particular was eager to show her skills. She was training the handling of swords while charging on disgusting horrors filling the burned fields. She had this naïve arrogance which amused her Night Elf friend and irritated every commander, captain and who else she met along their quests. And so, she was unconsciously playing with her weapons while waiting the summoning ritual in the old mausoleum instead of being on her guard, focused and ready for the worst as everyone else around her.

She should have been more careful. The atmosphere of the place, buried under the injured landscape, was heavy of despair. The walls were devoured by humidity and underground vegetation, and let goes this deep perfume of decomposed flesh. The silence was oppressive.
The Captain advanced carrying the phylactery. Everyone was standing in position, anxious and ready to fight. In a fog of smelling dark smoke, a door in the wall seemed to open. It was like inviting a Nightmare to come. Tintam was not really paying attention to this. She didn’t fear anything, at that moment. She was just waiting for more targets to slain and performing better her battle moves. It was almost like a game for her…at that moment.

But then the Archlych appeared. The squeleton body surrounded by his chains and interlace of old fashioned silk dress was terrifying. His voice rezoned in the cave as long and lugubrious call…And as an answer, every soldier and clerics or adventurers present including the Captain himself, started to feel the Fear invading their soul. The gnome didn’t had the time to recover herself from the hideous vision that she felt this awful energy growing and growing like it was eating her soul, devouring every little sparkle of hope in her heart. Her body started to shake, her ears were whistling, and a sticky chilly sweat covered her skin. An unnamed fear posseded her. It was like the whole world had fallen in eternal darkness and a yell, monstrous yell born in her and could not go through her throat. She kept this despair enclosed. She was alone, alone among the others. And the others were alone too …

Then the Hero arrived, carried by the wings of courage and valour. He was shinning like a sun in his golden armor. His blue eyes were a piece of a summer sky. His sword was the call of Justice and his shield, the symbol of his virtue. Bolvar Fordragon, ran fearless, among the chaos caused by the terror and his faith awaken the lost. Everyone felt a regain of courage, and managed to forget this absolute fear grasping their guts.
Tintam felt Elenoza sweet hand slapping the back of her head. She only realised that she had been lost in the contemplation of the Hero for too long, and that he was already fighting the Lych. She was like stunned by thunder. She shoke her head, and charged as a fury. Her heart was beating faster but it was not because of the excitement of the battle. Something happened in her, something unknown, something dizzying, and something fabulously good. She became even more intrepid, swiping her weapon with more rage than usual, and her azure eyes could not let go the figure of the paladin.

- Bolvar, you are my hero! I’m so honoured to fight at your side! said she in her head. But the only words she managed to get out her moved throat were ridiculously short and complaining: “my heroooooo”.

The battle didn’t lasted long with such a presence among the rank and as soon the Lych was defeated and the yells of victory making the cave trembling of joy, Bolvar Fordragon disappeared, letting a little gnome confused and disappointed. Gently, Elenoza who had understood what tempest of emotions was flooding her friend, proposed to immediately join the front at the Wrathgate and maybe be recruited there.

The Kaldorei was amused by this surprising change of mood. As they were flying side by side to Fordragon Hold, Elenoza listened to Tintam complaining and dubts and did her best to comfort her without smiling too much.

- But he is a human… maybe he would not like a gnome. Is he married already? …I mean for a gnome I’m awesome. I’m strong, courageous and very seductive. I’ll show you how I can dance! It’s amazing how good I’m! But if her prefer human...or elf …

They landed at the entrance of the Fort. A large army had been settled there. The soldiers, human and dwarf mainly were walking around waiting for the moment they would have to attack the gate facing them with the pride of a mountain. Tintam was absolutely nervous. Her heart was beating as drums, and she felt more scarified at the idea of having to talk to the fierce paladin than fighting among those soldiers the evil Scourge.
The path leading to the top tower was long and steep. The little warrior walked slowly, grasping her weapon as it would help her to find courage. He was there, her hero, watching the terrible faith awaiting him with the serenity of the wise. And she was so much in love with him !

[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II Wowscr20

She would probably never remember the exact words they exchanged when she finaly dared to address herself to him. She will just remember the gentle face he had, taking some times to thanks her participation in the Mausoleum fight, while he had others preoccupations. She will just remember the poor sunlight trying to pierce the clouds cover and shinning softly on his armour. She will just remember the hand they shacked. It was the strong hand of a man which have know the difficulties of life. Without being able to say a proper thanks she saw him offer her a couple of boots as reward of her help. She squeezed it close her heart as the most precious present ever received. Her checks were burning, her lips were trembling, she just savoured this moment with all her soul. He smiled to her, and it was like the paradise were just opening its gates. That’s all she will remember.

The hero Have a faith of hero, and when the time came, he faced his destiny with bravoure, justice, honnor and Love. Love for all his kind, love for life, love for universe. If he died during the fight, nothing had been able to make him fall. Treason, anger, hate and revenge only got his body. But his soul is still alive, his example is immortal. All tears poured in his name will serve a juste cause, will fill up heart with determination and courage.

[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II Wowscr21

When she saw the shield of her hero among the burning ashes, Tintam firstly though she would not survive to the pain breaking her. Even the care of her dear friend filled by compassion and love wasn’t able to soothe her despair. But then, she saw the black night sky nabbed of stars trough the flames surrounding the battle field of the Wrathgate. White stars shinning above, sparkling of hope. She watch Elenoza in the eyes. She had never been that serious. She even looked smart for a moment.

- We will not be able to change the world only your sister me and you. We need to gather more ! We need to gather people who want change the world as us and together we will be stronger. For Bolvar !

Elenoza nodded slowly, and grasped the gnome in a long hug. She know they were meant to do this together. Then death, and sorrow would not be vain. Evil would never win till a soul was standing alive and courageous, braving the darkness the heart filled by love.

- Can we call our organisation “Bolvar fan Club” ?

[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II Empty Letter adressed to the <Allied Science Institute>

Post by Elloa Sat Dec 12, 2009 11:37 am

To the Allied Science Institute,

My name is Tintam Spindlefirework and I’ve an important request to address you. I don’t know who the director of your institute is - I just heard about your Institute sometimes ago - that’s why I address this letter to no one in particular. I hope to offend no one by doing this.
My best friend and sister Elenoza is a Night Elf who learn about herbs and plants, and she herself have a sister that I never saw, which is very sick. Apparently she caught a disease when they arrived in Northrend. This disease can apparently not be cured by the effect of Light. Therefor we are looking for another way of cure, and Science could be the answer to our problem.
This is very important matter, my friend is very worried for her sister and I promised her to do my best to help her. I’ve myself some knowledge in herbalism, but I know nothing about medicine and alchemy.
I’m asking you to have an interview with your Scientist team, with the hope you can do something to help us. Obviously, we will not be ungrateful to any help you can provide us, and we can find an arrangement to pay your services.

Regards,

Tintam Spindlefirework

[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II Empty A cure for Eledeza : Drakuru and Zahrael

Post by Elloa Fri Dec 18, 2009 5:26 pm

I t was a normal day in Amberstine Lodge, the air was fresh and had a perfume of resin and earth, the sunlight was soft as it can be in late autumn and the lumbermen were singing in the forest while some trappers were silently pesting against the songs which were scarifying their preys. Tintam was waving at her friend slowly landing close the wood building. She was impatient, she had some news to share and she was certain the Kaldorei would appreciate her efforts.

- "Elenoza ! "Yelled the jumping gnome, unable to wait any longer “You need to come with me to a camp by there. There is a Troll hunt, we need to go there! “

- "Trolls ? Why would we want to hunt Trolls !" answered she, surprised by such a proposition

- "Listen ! Trolls know voodoo, it’s a powerful magi. They might have a remedy for your sister!"

Elenoza was doubtful, but agreed to accompany the warrior further in the pine forest covering the Grizzly Hills. The little camp was made of several poor tents, where some specialists in trollish culture were working together. All around the place, were hidden some Trolls ruins which knew still some activity and represented a potential danger. Tintam was so exited at the idea of participating to a Troll capture, that she forgot completely the first reason of their coming in this place. She was running everywhere, speaking to anyone crossing her path, sharping her axes with care, preparing her bags for the journey.

Next by the pond, a drakiri blue skinned Troll was enclosed in a cage. His glance was smart and malicious. He observed the two new comers during a long time before to call for Tintam in a whisper. Few minutes were enough to anyone possessing a minimum of lucidity to understand the thoughtless and impulsive nature of the gnome. Drakkuru, as was named this Troll, was certainly to take advantage of this discovery. The tiny creature approached the cage, fearless and listened to the words badly pronounced by the plotter. In few sentences, he succeeds to convince Tintam to help him, promising her to be well rewarded for her services. She immediately shared the information to Elenoza, assuring her that they could ask him a cure for Eledeza.

[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II Wowscr25

They didn’t guess at that moment that this unnatural association between a Kaldorei, a gnome and a Drakkari Troll would change the face of the world…or at least a little part of it. Ignorant of the dramatic involvement their carelessness would lead to, the two friends decided to follow Drakkuru instructions and penetrated the hostile territory of old drakkari ruins searching for mojo. It’s in those majestic broken building that they met Zahrael, the paladin. The human was also a blacksmith of certain talent and was searching for some rare metal vine. They didn’t know that this meeting would, as much as the rest, change the web of the future.

As soon as the old man presented himself as a Paladin of the Alliance, he won the trust and the respect of Tintam, who excitedly cheered him and asked him if he knew her hero, Bolvar Fordragon. When he answered that he actually did, he made a devoted friend for ever. Hidded on the top of the ruins, the three started to talk longly. Zahrael was surprised to hear that they were helping a Troll. According to him, Troll was a race to never trust. He was also amazed that Elenoza didn’t though to call the help of the priests of the Holy Ligh in Stormwind Cathedral or the Druids of the Cenarion Circle in Darnassus before researching more exotic remedy. But generously he offered his help.

[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II Wowscr26

-“ If you ever need some help, never hesitate to call for my assistance. I’ll see to start if I can make a better armour for our little friend. Something just at her size!”

Tintam was delighted by such nice attention. She pulled the dress of her friend as she wanted to whisper her some words. With kindness, the tall figure bended at the height of the gnome and listened.

- “Elenoza, we need a hero for our little organisation. Do you remember? He is the ideal partner, he is a paladin! With him we can follow the path of Bolvar! Please ask him if he want to join our cause. You will find the words better than I will.” Said she quietly, while her checks started to blush.

Elenoza nodded softly with a smile. The she explained their will in simple words. Zahrael accepted. It seem that their project fit perfectly his own hopes.

- "Welcome to the Bolvar Fan Club !" yelled joyfully Tintam

- "You really count call yourself like that ?" answered Zahrael who seemed suddenly to regret his descision.

[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II Wowscr28

Some days later, after have ventured all ruins of the Grizzly Hills, Elenoza and Tintam were exploring some scarifying old Drakari fortresses, lost in darkness and dust, and infested by a feeling barely explainable that was almost physical. Fear was everywhere. In front of the side entrance which would drive them in the heart of the Fort, they were hesitating. They were supposed to make their way till the top of the pyramidal structure, and then use the last mojo they had gathered to summon Drakkuru. Hopefully their effort would not be vain, and as he promised, they would be rewarded by some voodoo knowledge or remedy which could save Eledeza.

The Draktaron Keep smelt a danger that frightened the two friends. They decided to call the promise the paladin Zahrael had made to them. They approached the big monolith standing in the middle of the dark hall. A rune was shining on the top of it. It was one of those stone dispersed all around the world which could be used to summon an ally. Together, they closed their eyes, focused on the image of Zahrael face, and started a silent ritual. Some minutes passed, letting the Kaldorei and the gnome filled by anguish. Only then, they saw the grey hairy man appeared through a dark cloud of magical dust. They bowed, thankfully and explained the paladin quickly why they had to call his assistance.
Zahrael was a bit surprised they were still helping this Troll despite his warning. But he was good hearted and he opened the way in the Keep. Immediately he recognised the smell. Something disgusting, heavy, painful, desperate, something wearing the seal of evilness and corruption: Scourge. The place was infected by necromancy.

- Why this Troll want you to go in such a place! Undead everywhere! Smell the death!

Elenoza and Tintam were perplexed, but it was too late. The paladin taken along his Holy Crusade, started to charge with all his virtue and his courage, yelling instruction to the warrior and the priest.

- “Take care of that Necromancer! I’ll get the others! Elenoza, shackle the power of that one! “

He was efficient and alike Bolvar Fordragon, maybe with less intensity, he was spreading hope and trust around him. And the three advanced in the dark place without being stuck to the ground by fear. Nothing resisted their courage and their will. Nothing resisted the power of the Light, and of the Moon combined with the intrepidity of a little gnome.

And then, after many fights, after some injuries, after muscles exhausted, breath and heart beating speed up, they finally arrived at the top of the Ziggurat. Behind them, hundreds undead bodies had been exorcised or burned by the Light. In front of them, the amazing view of Zul Drak lying under a tortured purple sky was offered to them. Elenoza walked slowly to the brazier where a vivid fire was burning. She reversed the elixir she had previously mixed with the mojos. And for the last time the figure of Drakkuru appeared. But this time, it was not only his spirit, but also his bones and his flesh. He was there, standing in front of them and very satisfied. While he climbed the few stairs to the top, his malicious glance crossed Zahrael’s eyes. He didn’t seem appreciate the coming of this unknown person, he just ignored him and continued to speak to Elenoza and Tintam only.

[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II Wowscr29

Gathering the element they had brought to him, he started his ritual by placing the tablet and the two gems in triangle around the central circle. He promised once more the highest bless to the two ones which had helped him so hardly. Drakkuru would not be ungrateful. Something in the face of Zahrael showed the strongest defiance.

And the paladin was right. Elenoza and Tintam should have listened to him since the start. If they were, Zul Drak would not have known such a decline! Old Animal Gods would not have been killed by their own prophets! Argent Crusaders could have focused on the Icecrown danger instead of fighting against the Scourge invasion in the drakkiri homeland. But it was too late … The mistake was done...Maybe it was simply Destiny.

When Drakkuru finalised his ritual, he opened a interdimensional portal glowing of darkness…And from the smoke, appeared the figure of the worst enemy of Azeroth: the Lych King himself! Then only, bashed by what they had done, Tintam and Elenoza understood the importance of their misplaced trust, and the betrayal they had been the victims. The heart broken by such misfortune, ashamed as never by their foolishness, they heard the wise word of the paladin:

- You could not know, right? So do not feel guilty. Just go in Zul Drak and see what you can do to fix the situation.

Even there his words were freed from anger or judgement. He was tired, he was old after all for human standard, and he left the place, walking slowly, proudly in his alliance tabard. They didn’t hear about him during a long time after that.
Tintam, who felt responsible didn’t dared to watch her friend in the eyes. She didn’t said much till they found the Camp of the Ebon Blade where they crusade against Drakkuru would start.

Post by Elloa Mon Dec 21, 2009 9:50 am

Adressed to Tintam Spindlefirework,

Miss Spindlefirework,
The GAIRDAS Alchemy and Biology departments are both working day and night to combat diseases and plagues concocted or attributed to the great enemy and its homeland in the north. I cannot say wether or not we could help your friend without greater knowledge of the disease itself. If you do require direct contact with our science team, you can often find a representative of the Institute in the Ironforge Mystic Ward, who can redirect you to a science team's present location.
-Mimiron's blessing,

Celinda Blackcog

[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II Empty Re: [WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II

Post by Sidori Sun Jan 10, 2010 4:58 pm

It's a while since it happened, but for my part I consider the event hosted by Onelu a success. I'll just make a short OOC summary here.

The event started in the Exodar, where after introductions and greetings, a human mage assisted us in teleporting to Shattrath.
From there, we departed by feet from the Aldor rise, into Nagrand.
[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II 110

After only a few hundred meters we were met by a band of orcs from [Orcs of the Red Blade]. First there was some confusion, where a particular hot-headed Draenei shaman thought the orcs were hostile, and attacked them herself - but after a small frantic engagement, we understood that the orcs were not here to stop us, but to honor the Oshu'Gun relic themselves.
[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II 210

And so, we made our way to the Relic.
[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II 310

After some quiet reflection and reverence of the relic outside, we entered.
[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II 510

[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II 610

On our way inside we found agents of the Burning Legion. With the help of the orcs we fought through inside the relic. After having defeated several, and passed darker corridors, we entered the hollow core of the Oshu'Gun, where we found an ancient, dormant and drained Naaru.
[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II 710

After having paid our respects and after some had prayed for the cure and restoration of the Naaru inside , we cleaned the rest of the relic and went outside.
[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II 810

Lastly, we dispersed, after having said our thanks and goodbyes. Some of us walked together the distance back to the Broken encampment. We said goodnight, and went to our own to reflect a bit upon the happenings of the day. All in all it was a nice event, much credit to Onelu, who administered and hosted the event. Looking forward to seeing more like this, by ourselves or hosted by others, it was nevertheless a nice experience (especially for a new roleplayer like myself).

[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II Empty A cure for Eledeza : Tzigone

Post by Elloa Tue Jan 12, 2010 4:40 pm

Tintam Spindlefirework was looking at the druid with amazement. She was not so used to those kind of persons able to change form as they wished, or almost. The first time she surprised a druid, she was helping the Tulskar to get freed from the hand of Malygos, and she though during several minutes she just had a talk with a blue panther.
The druid possessed a wild beauty: a pale complexion, a slim figure and dark blue hair arranged in an elegant work of braids.

-“ I could help her, I think. “Said the Kaldorei with a harmonious voice

- “You could help her” repeated mechanically the gnome

- “Yes, I’m not very powerful, but I know some druidic curative spells which could help her. I’d like to try.”

- “Ooh! This would be really welcome, because until now, we had been so unsuccessful!”

Earlier, Elenoza and Tintam had tempted a last try to cure the sick priestess, using some blessed water they had received for a mission in Icecrown. They had tempted to arouse the interest of Father Gustave without any success. The human just ignored their call, and forced them to steal the precious water. Unfortunately, if the liquid could freed the enclosed souls of fallen crusaders, it only had extremely strange effect on Eledeza, and the poor elf seemed to be overflowed by Light and exhausted by the action of the improvised remedy.

The druid walk slowly towards the upper stairs of the Legerdemain Lounge. Bowing, she saluted Elenoza, grateful in advance to everything the Kaldorei could attempt to save her beloved sister. Once more, the druid humbly offered her help, insisting that she was unsure it could really save the priestess.
She approached from Eledeza’s bed. A vivid aura surrounded her. She smelt a parfume mixed from earth, moss, and maybe wet fur. She moved slowly her hands, summoning the power of Nature. The green energy fall on the young female as the rain fall through the foliage of the forest and wet the ground. She felt revigorified. Her body stopped to tremble. The fever fallen. She felt better.

- “I think… “said Eledeza in a whisper after have joined her sister in warm thanks. “I think I miss our land. I’d like to go back in Ashenvale.”

- “I’ll accompany you” added softly the druid “I’d be glad to help.”

[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II Empty Guild Meetings Summary Book -

Post by Sidori Fri Jan 15, 2010 3:27 pm

Guild Meeting in Emerald Dragonshrine, Tuesday the 14th of january.

We first started our meeting at 21, joining up in the Emerald Dragonshrine in Dragonblight. We chose to meet up at this location because it made a good representation of the Whitestar mindset, the Emerald Dragonshrine is a little "oasis" of life and warmth in the middle of the cold wasteland, in the same way Whitestar is the little light shining in the dark night sky. Symbolism aside, we started slowly, Elenoza and Tzigone fishing a little bit to gather some food for the meeting, and others gathering some wood for a little campfire.

And so, when the meeting started, there was Elenoza, Tintam, Zahraeel, Tzigone, Durel and Vilijus. We sat down to eat some of Elenoza's little meal, made from the fish we had gathered earlier, and started discussing a little bit how we would manage the Whitestar initiative. Firstly, we discussed how we would approach the Naxxramas Incursion. The idea itself was discussed, Tintam explained how she wanted to keep the night as a "Study of the scourge", and it was agreed upon that Whitestar needs this experience and hardship to be able to grow.

In the same fashion there was discussion on a training / tournament event to be held, where the idea to have a "practicing" event to both further train and prepare the Whitestar members, and to make Whitestar itself a little more known to other potential members and heroes. It was agreed upon that we need to have some sort of presentation where we speak a little about our goal and hopes, and what we want to do to help better the world in our own way. It was also debated whether or not there should be held a jousting tournament in line with the Argent Tournament's own championship, but this issue was left to be further discussed at a later opportunity.

At some point during the discussion Durel had to leave a bit early, and Tintam felt so offended when Tzigone mocked her cookie-indulging habits that she left in a bit of anger. Shortly after Eledeza finally arrived, joining for the last but most important part of the meeting. We discussed the organisational structure we would keep in Whitestar - even though the twins would prefer to keep the organisation with equal deciding power and importance between all members, it was decided to create a ruling council, to keep a fair but deciding way of organisation. At the moment, the Star Council consists of Elenoza (and Eledeza, they share a seat), Tzigone and Tintam. On the more "practical" side of things there was appointed two Captains, Zahrael and Vilijus, to both lead us in combat when we need to, and to keep the more hands-on affairs of Whitestar in line. Lastly, we appointed our herald and outwards voice (the Starlight position), and it was agreed to let Eledeza do this, as she is the one with most outwards contact with other organisations. During this discussion Iridium joined as well.

At last we dispersed for the evening, but in the end we discussed important matters, made solid decisions, and last but not least, had an enjoyable social event with almost everyone. Thanks to all who attended, looking forward to our next one!

Council meeting in Dalaran, Sunday the 17th of January

Attendees: Elenoza, Tintam, Tzigone, Vilijus (also, later joined by Xaan, and semi-present, Oriani)

Location: Dalaran (at first the Legerdemain Lounge, eventually A Hero's Welcome)

At first we met up in the Legerdemain Lounge in Dalaran. After having spent only a few moments there, Tintam wanted to show us something, and led us through Dalaran, eventually ending up at the Silverwing tavern, "A Hero's Welcome". After having taken a little tour of the facilities, it was decided that from now Whitestar will keep this new place as our "main" meeting headquarters, instead of the Legerdemain Lounge as we've used up to now.

We went back to the garden in the back, sitting down to have a little discussion about the internal affairs of Whitestar.

Firstly, we discussed a little bit more how we would do the guild ranking system. On one side we had Tintam and Vilijus who wanted to see Whitestar have a hierarchial military structure, and on the other side we had Tzigone and Elenoza who would rather see Whitestar as more of a spiritual and civilian place. The main discussion with this was how to properly reward those who prove themselves within Whitestar, and what we want to do to show our acnowledgement of good deeds. After some discussion back and forth it was eventually agreed upon that members that distinguish themselves in a particular way (like an extraordinarily heroic act, a very noble deed or the likes) should be rewarded with their own rank, the Nova rank. The Nova rank was chosen because what a nova does is expand outwards to touch everything in it's vicinity, and that is how a true Whitestar member should be, something that touches everything around it with hope and good. It was also agreed to make some sort of ceremony whenever any member advance in rank, be it a party, a speech, or whatnot. In the end we agreed to keep a different rank for members who are or aren't actively participating in combat engagement. Here, Vilijus and Tintam argued that new members should show prowess in battle to be recognized as a true Whitestar, while Elenoza argued that there was more sides to doing good than only vanquishing the evil.

Secondly, but related to the first, we decided to make a sort of trial period for new members. After yet more discussion regarding whether or not Whitestar should be actively looking for members that are not participating in combat, it was decided to keep a "testing" period for new members, for no less than one half moon cycle (or 14 days as Tintam preferred it). This period is to be used not only if a new recruit knows how to swing his sword, but also to see if the new member would actually fit within the Whitestar mentality. Also, Tzigone suggested that we let the new trialists show their abilities once a week in the Argent tournament, for training and battle coordination purposes.

Lastly, we were joined by a rather blunt and nihilistic old warlock, a gnome doctor named Dr. Xaan Ficklebolt. He was first assumed to be nothing more than a grumpy old man with a demonic attaché, but it was quickly discovered how the old gnome had a few tricks up his sleeve.

The Whitestar council, initially quite suspicious to the dark arts of the warlock, eventually decided to let him be the first candidate for our new trialist concept. And so, the old warlock joined Whitestar.

After this the meeting dispersed, ending up with Tintam giving her two cousins Bitsie and Nyti a little guided tour of Dalaran, where they found some weird old human to talk to. All in all, it was an enjoyable evening!

2. New hope
Extract of a letter send by Elloa to Valini, Exodar.

Alakina Aisling disguised observe the Shield training
Dear Valini,

(....)

The other day, in the capitol a regiment of city guard organised a training open to the population. I found this an excellent opportunity to discover more about humans, and so I decided that Sidori and I would participate. Sidori was a bit reluctant at first, her misadventure have made her extremely shy, but she finally enjoyed a lot the evening.
The city guards were lead by a man with a strong voice and a big moustache. I learn there some basic politeness such as opening and ending your sentences by “Sir”. It was an entertaining and instructive night. We did so much in a very short time: visiting a prison, learning how to recognise a criminal and how to strip him – I’ve notice how human are ashamed about their legs, this is an extremely amusing detail – making different patrol around the city, and discipline exercises.
But the most interesting thing which happened that day was the acquaintance I made with a female called Alakina Aisling. She was disguising herself during the whole event to gather “scoop”. Sidori and I immediately felt at ease with her, and she – this show how instinctive human are – immediately came to us.
She is part of a dying organisation of disappeared heroes and she try to make it alive again. For that she is planning to write a Journal that she will sell, and she need people able to gather information and write. My common is far from being good enough to write for her nice text, but gather informations about this world is exactly what I was planning to do during the next several decades. Human do not have the time to not trust unknown persons, and test them, so Alakina Aisling, after few words exchanged in a bar, recruited me and Sidori as reporters for the Whitestar News. My first mission is to find a female dwarf called Alizsa. Dwarves are also a amazing being. They love sleep and stealing their pillow is apparently an efficient strategy to weaken them…

This world is definitively amazing !

May the Naaru bless your days and every steps of your path,

3. First step of a new reporter

Elloa slipped herself under the heavy blanket with a sigh of plasure. Humans bed were too short for a beeing of Elloa’s size, but she was getting used to sleep in fœtal position. The touch of the feather filled pillow was a delight of every night. The glance lost on the woody roof of the room, she smiled happily. She was quiet satisfied about her adventure. Her employer, Miss Alakina Aisling, will be happy at her return.

If at the beggining Elloa at felt a little bit lost, with the task Alakina had assigned to her – finding a dwarf named Alisza, and who proved to be very lost – she felt now comfortable in her new role of Reporter. It was something she had to learn from the scratch, in the Draenic society, there weren’t such thing as journalist and reporters, or atleast, she had no memory about it.
Several times, Alakina and Elloa had met. Several time, they had been observing the Stormwind life together and had spoken longly. They even had walk along the Uther’s pilgrimage, creating between the two female the first seed of friendship.
Elloa, deeply interested by understanding the world arround her, and its inhabitant, never missed an occasion to learn, to experiment, to try. She had been amazed by the human behaviour, when she assisted to a public humiliation of criminals. She had been even more amazed when some days later, she met the journalist Julia Beckjordsson, and when she confessed that criminal were maybe lashed in public, but still allowed to publicate their own newspaper. She had been happy to share a long discussion with a paladin, and to understand that his vision of Light, even lacking of the the teaching of the Naaeru, were close the Draenei spirituality. She had been confused by the dwarf sens of humour, their nationalist vision, and their love for inconsequent things, but she however, had find kindness and heart in them.

[WOW] Whitestar Story Chap I - Chap II Wowscr50

Elloa detached the ribbon holding her hair combed. She let it fall on the ground in a lazy gesture. Her room was messy, invaded by clothes, books, cristals and gems, and others artifact she used to meditate.
Along the Uther’s pilgrimmage, she had been lucky enough to speak with a friend of Alisza. The female was called Aliny, and semt to be interested by the Whitestar project. Elloa promised herself to meet her again, as soon as possible.
Some days ago, she made a travel to Darnassus in the Kaldorei land. She wanted to meet someone called Calisar, and to obtain her permission to assist the private event she was hosting in Theramore as Journalist. Elloa toke care to not precise who she was exactly to still be able to get hired as a waitress or a menestrel in case of a refusal. But instead of meeting Calisar, she met by chance a Kaldorei with purple braids named Ryasha. The elvish warrior was one of those Whitestar heroes disepeared today. They had a nice talk together, and Elloa obtained from the Kaldorei to be warned if something interesting enough to be writed about was happening. The same night, she obtained the same promise from a Draenei sculptor, and from a dwarf met in a Tavern.
Satisfied about herself, and exausted by the differents travel, Elloa let herself fall in a deep sleep. Tomorow, she will start to write her first article for Whitestar.
