The future sandbox mmo: ArcheAge

Hello!

One thing I wanted to bring up is the future mmo "ArcheAge". I've been following this game almost as long as I've been following Tera. This is the new Sandbox game where your guild actually changes the world. The game world is supposed to be enormous without any instances what so over. You can combine classes as you please and build houses, guild houses, boats etc. The game also offers siege combat and sea combat with boats, also your mounts can attack too.

The only thing that really puts me off this game is obviously the dull combat. :/ But I really like the sandbox idea of the game.

I'm sharing your exact opinion. Weee for Sandbox, meehh for combat. After Tera, I think it's ridiculous to atempt to do Tab-targeting combat anymore.

It might be nice to follow the evolution of that game though.

Yes, totally! In a new game I really want more fast paced action combat like Tera and DCUO. This is obviously the standards target 1-2-3 game. But the general sandbox idea is awesome.

This is an article concerning class in Arche Age. it seem very interesting, as apparently you can build your class a bit as you wish. that was something I really loved in Rift, I'll be happy to find it in another game.

Seeing the videos and reading text in the website, i'm getting very interested into that game. I'll follow news more closely cause I do believe that game would be a wonderfull platform for a community. Players can really play as they want and the meaning of beeing a guild in such a game reveal all it's importance.

But I'm not gonna bother reading any about it yet.
It's just lacking too much information atm, even the website seems dull and empty.
Are there even plans or an ETA for a outside-asia release? o0

Really cool! The animations are not as bad as they used to be. They must've changed them a little.

Yes, they are planing to release it in Europe. Now if the world end in 2012, we will certainly not see that game. They have not really started to translate properly the website and such. Probably because it's still in alpha in Asia.

Yeah, they will have a 4th closed beta sometime soon. But the game is far from finished yet they say so. Autumn 2012 a Korean release. The EU release will be sometime after that.

I can't but agree with you on this one. Tera is alredy a pain in the butt alredy XD I hate waiting.
