Games to play together!

Well - since this is a multi-gaming community and i happen to like to play games multiplayer (which i have far to few chances to do...) i thought that i would list some games that it would be fun if we could play together - in hope that maybe someone, sometime, would want to play it. ^_^

Terraria. To not say that this resembles 2D-minecraft would kinda be a lie. But it actually does a lot of stuff better than minecraft, it's combat system doesn't suck for example, and it includes several bosses, a LOT more gear, and there is a lot more items in general and such. It's in a way simpler than minecraft, so it has a lot more content. In a way.

This. THIS ONE SO VERY MUCH. Magicka slightly resembles Diablo, at first glance. What you do is basically to run around and blast the shit out of enemies with spells. Thing is, a lot of spells are kinda destructive. And friendly fire is ON. It's a lot more fun than I'm making it sound here... It's hectic, wayy more satisfying than it should be and a LOT of fun.

This one i have actually not played before. Dungeon Defenders is a Tower Defence Action RPG. Basically, you have a character and a place to defend, and you can run around and place turrets, traps and other gadgets and also fight the incoming monsters yourself. There is also stuff like levels, equipment, pets, what have you. Looks fun to me.

This list would also include Portal 2, but I'm pretty sure Majiin was up for playing that.
Anyway, that's enough to begin with. If anyone is interested, gimmie a shout, as long as i have time i would love to play these with someone. :)

I've seen images of Terraria and thought it looked rather awesome ^^ Wouldn't be a fan of the flat graphics, though, as I loved the dimensional effect of Minecraft (i could look all around my building) but nevertheless, it looks cool

Well, the difference between Minecraft and Terraria is basically that Terraria has (a lot) more of the gameplay / survival aspect, but less of the creative. There may be more stuff like furniture and such, and you CAN still build quite awesome stuff in it, but, well, it will all be in 2D. :P
Also, if they haven't added it without me noticing, there is no redstone. So yeah. :<

Fredrik prefer Terraria, and I prefer Minecraft from far. I think it's really a question of taste. Adventuring doesn't interest me so much, even in Minecfrat. All I like it's to build cool stuff. Mobs annoy me.
In addition, I started to play video game late, I've not really known the 2D in video games. I've no taste for it at all.

Good initiative though to add game that we could play in multiplayer.

Well, simplified, if you prefer the creative part, Minecraft is probably better, if you prefer the survival / exploration part, Terraria is probably better. So which you prefer would most likely depend on what draws you into these kind of games. For me, since i like to explore and such, i would probably rank Terraria slightly higher than Minecraft.

And a 4-man Magicka would be awesome if we could do. :)

As you probably noticed, i haven't played Terraria for quite a while so i haven't really kept up with its updates.

Been some time since i played Magicka, got to <3 it.

Apart from that iam kinda stuck on Eve atm even after having some dark times ^^

I have dungeon defenders.

Apart from the fact thats easy to hack it's a great game.
But it can get very frustrating when you are not prepared at the later levels.

Apart from MMO's I very rarly play games online, but if I do I prefer it to be a racing game, or a shooter (co-op or pvp) borderlands is a good one, it kinda plays like an MMO.

Easy to hack is of course bad, but if "not prepared at the later levels" translates to that you actually have to try (hard), it's a huge plus for me. It's good when games actually present a challenge. :P

If anyone was interested in playing Dungeon Defenders sometime, it is included in the Inde Royale Bundle currently, so you can get it + 4 other games dirt cheap... if you are a cheapskate. Would encourage people to pay up a bit more than the minimum. :P

Offer only lasts for 2 more days also, so go get it while it lasts!

At the moment i am playing some swtor on empire again and some wow on maelstrom. I think i will give GuildWars2 a try when it releases. Any one else got asome tips on games right now? Is diablo3 a game to try?
