Guild Wars 2 Beta

We have a launch date: August 28

Just wondering who will be playing the GW2 Beta this weekend.

BWE3 will be the last beta weekend before the GW2 launch on August 28. For many the greatest news for this beta is that the Sylvari and Asura races now become playable. So I can fina-a-a-lly play my beloved Sylvari Mesmer

These vids also feature some of the gorgeous musical score by Jeremy Soule. Jeremy also wrote the music for Morrowind and Skyrim, amongst many others.

For me this could be the first game that will feel as fresh and exciting as when I first played WoW (which now seems centuries ago).

For who is interested, I will roll on the (new) 'unofficial' EU RP Server for BWE3: Piken Square.
Yep, there is already a very active RP community for GW2

Did I already mention how awesome this game is?

I will be playing some at least, how much depends on how much free time i have. :P

I doubt i would have time to get serious enough with the game to actually RP, but RP servers can be nice to roll on anyway, since people are generally more pleasant to deal with there. Although i have an IRL friend I'm trying to get to play it so where i play might get affected by that. We'll see.

My thoughts exactly, best communities are always on RP servers. It's a kind of self-fulfilling prophecy

Once im back, i'll reorganise the forum a bit, as i said earlier, and considering that several Whitestarian are interested by this game, ill add a sub forum dedicated to Gw2.

personaly, im still unsure Ill play it at all, not because im not interested, but because ill have hard time to play three mmo at once, and im happy with the secret world and tera so far.
